JCS Manzanita Elementary PTO

We are still looking to fill Committee positions for the 2019/2020 school year. Here is a list of available positions and details of the role. If you feel like one of these would be a good fit for you, please contact the PTO board at We are looking to get these positions filled at our first meeting on 08.28.19.

Yearbook Chairperson

Take photos at school activities throughout the year and work with school staff and students to publish yearbook. This may require monthly meetings with yearbook staff to complete yearbook if you are getting students involved. 

Fundraising Chairperson- 

Choose and schedule all fundraising activities across the school year. Select subcommittee chairs for individual fundraisers as needed. Advise and assist the committee chairs with their respective programs. 

Assemblies Chairperson- 

Search for assemblies that fall within our yearly budget and work with school administration on coordinating those assemblies. 

Student Council Coordinator-

Meet with the Student Council monthly. Help come up with and run Student Council led events. Organize the Student Council voting process. Create Spirit days with the Student Council.

Theater Liaison-

Choose play that students will perform at the end of the year. Collaborate with the teachers and work with the students in each class to get them performance ready (issuing lines, helping them rehearse, costumes, etc.)
